In Ireland, Petrol Plaza reports Fuels for Ireland that represents the country’s energy industry is calling for a switch to E10 from E5 as part of its new strategy that seeks to bring the sector to carbon neutrality by 2050. The company’s CEO says that fossil fuels cannot be the basis of Ireland’s energy matrix nor the industry’s long-term business strategy. He says the switch to E10 would be the equivalent of taking 50,000 cars off of Ireland’s roads.
