Brazilian hydrous ethanol sales hits pre-COVID levels in July

In Brazil, Platts reports hydrous ethanol sales rose back to near pre-pandemic levels in July to 1.51 billion liters. February saw sales at 1.77 billion liters but quickly dropped in March when control measures to stop the spread of COVID-19 were brought into place, hitting fuel demand. Total hydrous ethanol sales for the year through July were down 17% on the year at 10.47 billion liters. Anhydrous sales were down 10.5% on the year at 5.25 billion liters.
