Deadline extended for Beyond the Bag Challenge

In New York, Closed Loop Partners is extending the Ideas phase by four weeks to October 2 and is offering a 1:1 feedback session with IDEO to anyone interested in submitting an application for the Beyond the Bag Challenge which will give a portion of $1 million of non-equity funding ranging from $50 to $200K and exposure and face-time with retailers including CVS Health, Target, and Walmart for any applicant who submits cutting edge, tech-enabled solutions to disrupt the retail and delivery industry and minimize or eliminate the need for bags altogether.

In their email notice, Closed Loop Partners said, “Many of you have reached out asking for more time to submit solutions, and we wanted to let you know that we heard you. We know there’s a lot going on in the world right now, and we want to ensure you have ample opportunity to craft your submissions. Here’s what we are doing:

• We are extending the Ideas phase by four weeks, to Friday, October 2nd at 11:30PM PT. We encourage you to use this time to edit and refine your submission
• We are offering a 1:1 feedback session with IDEO to anyone interested in submitting. To set this up, please email [email protected] with the subject line, “Feedback Session” and we will be in touch to arrange one with you”
