Argentine cargo transportation association looking to B100 to decarbonize

September 30, 2020 |

In Argentina, the Clarin newspaper reports the national cargo transportation association Fadeeac is promoting a plan to convert all long-haul road transportation to B100 in an effort to boost the industry who has suffered from domestic policies and shrinking export markets. The first phase of the project is estimated to reduce 13 million metric tons of CO2 emissions annually. Although B100 will be the short-term solution to decarbonizing cargo transportation, the plan is also to include LPG and LNG.
