October 22, 2020 |

In Texas, the San Antonio Business Journal reports Earth Energy Renewables has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, listing debts of between $1 million and $10 million against assets of between $10 million and $50 million. The company uses a waste-to-energy technology developed by Texas A&M University professor that produces organic acids and esters. It has a demonstration facility in Bryan, Texas. Court filings didn’t explain why the company was seeking bankruptcy protection and its attorney didn’t respond to requests for comment.
