EPA considering changing E15 labeling policy ahead of election

In Washington, in a nod to the biofuel’s industry’s concerns over current E15 labels deterring customers from choosing the fuel at the pump, Reuters reports the Environmental Protection Agency is looking to change the labels that currently warn of potential engine damage. With the presidential election just a week away and President Trump having a hard time wooing the agricultural states due to EPA decisions on small refinery exemptions and the impacts of the trade war with China, the policy shift may be seen as a way to shore up support.
