Ethanol production rises by stocks still at lowest since late 2016

In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production rose last week to the highest level since early September at 941,000 barrels. COVID-19 continues to impact production as the figure is 63,000 barrels per day lower than during the same week in 2019. Even though production rose, stocks fell to the lowest level since late 2016 at just 19.6 million barrels, nearly 1.5 million barrels lower than last year. The West Coast region imported an average of 6,000 barrels per day, according to the RFA.
