EPA wants Supreme Court to wait a month before deciding to hear SRE petition

In Washington, Reuters reports that in response to the oil industry’s attempts to get the Supreme Court to review the January 10th Circuit decision regarding small refinery exemptions, the Environmental Protection Agency has asked the court to wait until December 14 to decide whether to hear the case or not. The court was meant to make the decision by November 14, but the Trump Administration wants it, along with several other biofuels decisions that are pending, to be taken well after the election chaos is over.
