Terravesta looking to help Scottish farmers switch to miscanthus

In the UK, the Scottish Farmer reports Terravesta is working hard to convince local farmers to plant miscanthus in spring 2021, saying it offers a low risk and higher returns per hectare than other crops grown on poor quality land. The company works across the entire miscanthus supply chain from working with growers to securing markets for the crop, which it says are growing for renewable heating and fuels, as well as for animal bedding.
