Broad coalition wants New York state clean fuel standard back on the table

In New York state, Spectrum Local News reports that a broad coalition of dozens of groups including auto manufacturers, biofuel and renewable fuel producers among others have sent a letter to top state legislators asking for them to again take up the issue of a clean fuel standard. The group sought to start the discussion in January but the global pandemic pushed the topic to the back burner. Now, the group led by the New York League of Conservation Voters, thinks it’s time to move forward with the state-level policy.
