Iowans excited about potential for Secretary Vilsack Pt. 2

In Iowa, the Des Moines Register reports that Iowans from both side of the aisle are excited at the possibility that President-Elect Joe Biden will appoint the state’s former governor Tom to once again take up the post of Secretary of Agriculture after serving in the same post under President Barack Obama. Vilsack was a strong report of the Renewable Fuel Standard when he previously served as agriculture secretary, and with the EPA struggling to move forward with blending and the prospects of a future Low Carbon Fuel Standard on the table, having him back at the USDA would signal strong support for biofuels by the Biden Administration.
