USGC ethanol demand growth both inside and outside US

In Washington, Platts reports the US Grains Council expects demand for ethanol will increase domestically and globally thanks to the recent approvals of COVID-19 vaccines that mean life can return “to normal” in 2021. USGS expects industrial ethanol demand for sanitizers and other uses to fight the pandemic will continue to support demand through Q3 2021. Demand for ethanol for industrial purposes doubled to about half of US ethanol exports during several months of 2020.
