In Belgium, European Commission has published implementing regulation 2020/2098, OJ ref. L425, initiating an anti-dumping and countervailing duties exemption review for a new Canadian exporting producer of biodiesel, repealing the anti-dumping duty for that producer and making the imports subject to registration.
Customs authorities will register imports from Verbio Diesel Canada Corporation for a period of nine months.
At the end of the investigation, if the company meet the conditions for exemption, the countervailing duty of EUR237 per metric ton will be repealed.
If the company does not meet the exemption conditions, the anti-dumping duty will be collected retrospectively.
