Missouri state senator introduces bill to reach B20 by 2024

December 30, 2020 |

In Missouri, state Sen. Denny Hoskins has pre-filed a bill called the Missouri Made Fuels Act that would see biodiesel blending increase annually through 2024, reaching 20% by that time. The legislation seeks a first 5% blending mandate starting in April 2022, increasing to 10% in March 2023 before reaching 20% the following year. During the years with 10% blending or higher, the levels would remain at 5% during the winter months to eliminate concerns about potential gelling of fuels.
