Oil industry argues against biofuel coalition’s attempt to regain “missing gallons”

In Nebraska, DTN reports the American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers has filed a motion this week with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit arguing that the biofuels industry has no right to the 500 million “missing” gallons lost when the Environmental Protection Agency waived their compliance in 2016. A coalition of biofuels and farmers groups recently asked the court to require the EPA replace the missing gallons within six months.
