Husky Energy shuts down Lloydminster ethanol plant following fire

In Canada, CBC reports Husky Energy was forced to shut down its ethanol plant near Lloydminster, Saskatchewan following a loud boom and later and fire in a dryer. The fire was put out within one minute by the fire suppression system, resulting in no injuries to the two people working at the time but the company has temporarily halted ethanol production while it undertakes an investigation. Husky Energy recently approved integration with Cenovus Energy, including its ethanol plants.
