#3 Soy-based turf meets the gridiron

In Indianapolis, SYNLawn Indiana reports that its soy-based turf will be used by the Indianapolis Colts for 2021 pre-game matches as well as education programs.

The United Soybean Alliance says the deal will help further awareness of soy-based products and their benefits. The education programs, which will commence once COVID-19 policies end, include “Touchdown Town,” a 40-yard dash over the biobased artificial turf.

SYNLawn’s soy-based turf is recyclable, conserves water, and boasts a US Department of Agriculture Certified Biobased Product label. According to DRGnews, citing a USDA report, biobased products contributed $459 billion to the US economy in 2016.
