Latest canola agronomic research now accessible via Canola Research Hub

January 31, 2021 |

In Canada, a new interface, the Canola Research Hub, is available as a knowledge transfer tool, designed to assist those in the canola industry in defining best management practices that can be put to use on the farm to improve canola yields and profitability. Reports and the ability to search findings from leading studies focused on yields, profitability and sustainability are available to users, as well as the ability to share those results.

The Canola Research Hub facilitates the pairing of scientific knowledge with the expertise of those working with canola into varying degrees. The Hub assists the canola industry in defining best management practices based on current scientific evidence to support the production of sustainable and profitable canola in Canada with reduced production risk.

Accessing and applying this information can help growers move towards the goal of a 52 bu./ac. average Canadian canola yield by 2025, as outlined in the Canola Council of Canada’s Keep it Coming strategic plan.
