Vilsack reconfirms commitment to biofuels if Senate green lights him again

In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports former Secretary of Agriculture and Governor of Iowa Tom Vilsack voiced his continued commitment to renewable fuels during his Senate hearing to again take up the post of Secretary of Agriculture. There are concerns amongst the biofuels industry because of President Biden’s vocal and active support of a transition to electric vehicles but Vilsack voiced his support for the need for both biofuels to fuel the existing vehicle fleet and the need for electric vehicles in the future.
