February 9, 2021 |

In Oregon, local press reports that Global Partners has received its first shipment of renewable diesel at its Clatskanie facility at the Port of Columbia County even though its permits from the state’s Department of Environmental Quality are under review following complaints from environmental activists. The facility received its permits to transship renewable diesel in July. Renewable diesel is seen as a key fuel for helping to achieve low carbon fuel standards now in place along the West Coast from British Columbia to California.
