India expected to announce E100 this week

In India, ET Now reports that the government is expected to announce the sale of E100 at retail pumps, a move which comes on the heels of allowing E20 earlier this month. As part of the new rule that will allow the sale of 100% ethanol, the government will work with auto manufactures to begin building flex-fuel engines that will allow cars to run on the fuel. Already E100 has been allowed for two-wheeled vehicles and rickshaws.
