Ethanol production continues to recover but stocks at three-month low

In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production rose to an average of 971,000 barrels per day last week, the highest seen since December 2020, but even so, stocks continued to shrink to a three-month low. Ethanol production remained 64,000 barrels per day lower than during the same period last year, but fuel consumption and blending remains lower as well. Stocks shrunk to 21.34 million barrels, nearly 3.26 million barrels lower than last year.
