DMC & SCG execute agreement for DMC’s amino acid product line in ASEAN

In Colorado, DMC Biotechnologies, a biobased specialty chemical company which makes products using microbial fermentation, executed an agreement with SCG Chemicals Co., Ltd to bring DMC’s L-Alanine and branched chain amino acids (BCAAs) into the ASEAN* markets.

SCG was an investor in DMC’s Series A round in December 2019.

Matt Lipscomb, Ph.D., CEO & Co-Founder of DMC said, “The SCG agreement is another validation of our technology and our progress towards the commercialization of our first wave of products. We are excited to partner with SCG and leverage their wide reach to distribute our products into the ASEAN region.”
