Supreme Court hears SRE arguments

In Washington, The Hill reports the Supreme Court heard arguments on Tuesday regarding the long-disputed way the Environmental Protection Agency issued small refinery exemptions under the Renewable Fuel Standard, even though the new EPA administrator has agreed to change the way his predecessor decided who got waivers and who didn’t. Supreme Court justices already appear skeptical of arguments brought by both the oil industry and the government, indicating there may be a split in the court’s views.
