10. SkyNRG comes to the Americas, fast.

Not to be outdone, look for European-US venture SkyNRG Americas to develop its first project in the US by 2026, targeting around 15 million gallons of production, the vast majority of it SAF. Location? Somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. Sez in this slide from SkyNRG head John Plaza that the project will feature MSW, landfill gas and renewable energy. That sure sounds like something close to a hydro project and a municipal center that can be a source for all that MSW and landfill gas. We have no magic wand or inside information, but can advise that there are some awfully tempting landfill monsters along the Columbia Gorge. If you put the Klickitat Landfill together with the Bonneville Power project, you might really have something. Just sayin’.
