Ethanol stocks finally grow after six weeks of losses

In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol stocks finally began to build again after six weeks of losses. Ethanol stocks reached 20.44 million barrels, up 704,000 barrels from the week prior thanks to ethanol production reaching an average of 952,000 barrels. That level is still 84,000 bpd below the same period in 2019 but 354,000 higher than the same period last year when the COVID-19 pandemic significantly hit fuel demand due to strict lockdowns.
