3. Electrolysis is winning big in Green Hydrogen

There are several ways to make green hydrogen. This slide from 1898 & Co.’s Dave Collings highlights the success being achieved by the water-splitting option — look at the project sizes. From 1GW all the way up to 14 GW. Amazing number of these in Australia, which has gone all-out on hydrogen. In all, the Aussies are building nearly 35GW in green hydrogen electrolysis capacity. Underlining a) how important green hydrogen is believed to be and b) how energy intensive the electrolysis path can prove.
