April corn use for ethanol slightly lower than March

In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports that US Department of Agriculture data shows corn used for ethanol in April was 2% lower than in March at 410.017 million bushels, but the figure is 67% higher than in April 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic first started impacting fuel markets. Similarly, DDGS production was about on part with March compared to April, falling by only 1% to 1,786,152 tons but the total was 76% higher than during the same period last year.
