Ethanol production and stocks both rise

In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production not only rose last week to an average of 1.067 million barrels a day, but stocks also increased to 19.96 million barrels, the highest seen in five weeks. As people continue to get vaccinated and life returns to normal, so is demand for fuel and ethanol blending which has seen ethanol stocks fall week-on-week for more than a month as production struggled to keep up.
