Malaysia’s B20 implementation now seen complete by end-2022

In Malaysia, the Star newspaper reports that after several false starts, the government now believes the B20 mandate will be completely implemented nationwide by the end of 2022. The most recent attempt to implement the mandate was put on hold indefinitely with the government putting the blame on COVID-19 impacts but others felt it had more to do with the high price of palm oil making the blending mandate a financial burden for the government’s coffers.
