Ethanol production rises slightly while stocks tighten

In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports that Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production continued to rise slightly last week, reaching an average of 1.067 million barrels per day, but it wasn’t enough to keep up with demand. As a result, stocks tightened to 21.149 million barrels, which was more than half a million barrels higher than the same period last year but was 423,000 barrels low than the week prior, making it the first stock shrinkage in six weeks.
