Biden Administration delays biofuel blending decisions further

In Washington, Reuters reports the Biden Administration has delayed announcing the blending mandates for 2021 and 2022, already delayed since before last November’s election, as the President’s chief of staff attempts to negotiate a truce between oil and corn industries and states. The White House has said it’s not directly involved in the Environmental Protection Agency’s decision-making process on the issue of blending levels but is trying to negotiate a truce between the two sides separately.
