Ethanol production falls slightly but stocks build as blending dips

In Washington, DTN reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production led to a slight building in stocks together with lower demand for blending. Production fell slightly to 1.028 million barrels per day, making it the tenth week in a row that production was over a million barrels per day. Ethanol stocks reached 22.518 million, the highest in 21 weeks, with stocks growing in all five regions including the East Coast that saw stock building after three weeks of losses.
