California ethanol CEOs ask Sen. Feinstein to withdraw Corn Ethanol Mandate Elimination Act

In California, the CEOs of Alto Ingredients, Calgren Renewable Fuels and Aemetis have written to Sen. Dianne Feinstein asking her to withdraw her bill that seeks to eliminate ethanol blending via the Corn Ethanol Mandate Elimination Act. They say that ethanol already reduces GHG emissions 52% compared to gasoline while those certified to sell in California must achieve 75% emissions reductions or more while the Senator stated when launching the bill that ethanol reduces emissions only a little or not at all.
