Ethanol production falls slightly but stays above 1 million bpd

In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production continued to stay above 1 million barrels per day last week but fell slightly on the week prior to 1.013 million bpd. Stocks also fell in line with lower production amidst the highest gasoline demand seen in four weeks with stocks reaching 22.649 million barrels, down 84,000 barrels on the week. Brownfield also reports USDA data showed ethanol prices in the Midwest were higher last week.
