Balampur Chini to invest $27.5M in ethanol expansion

In India, Equity Bulls reports that’s Balampur Chini will invest $27.5 million to expand ethanol production to 1.05 million liter per day from the current 520,000 liters per day in line with the government’s push to achieve 20% ethanol blending by 2025. Already in November 2020 an expansion to 840,000 liters was approved and is underway. Total annual production once all of the expansion plans are implemented will be around 350 million liters per year.
