Ethanol production falls below 1M barrels for first time in 13 weeks

In Washington, DTN reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production fell below the psychological key level of an average 1 million barrels per day last week for the first time since early May. Production was 986,000 bpd. In line with lower production, stocks also fell to 22.276 million barrels with drawdowns seen in the East Coast and Midwest regions. The exporting Gulf Region’s stocks were flat while West Coast stocks rose, which could indicate imports.
