Midwest AgEnergy scoping out possible CCS project

In North Dakota, the Bismarck Tribune newspaper reports that Midwest AgEnergy is exploring the possibility of a Carbon Capture and Storage project near its Dakota Spirit facility in an effort to reduce its carbon emissions from ethanol production. Although other parts of the state have been researched to determine if they are viable for carbon sequestration, the study Midwest AgEnergy is undertaking is the first in the eastern part of the state where rock formations become shallower as they get closer to the Red River Valley.
