Ethanol stocks fall to 14-week low while production rises above analysts’ expectations

In Washington, Dow Jones reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol stocks slumped for the seventh week in a row, even below analysts’ expectations, to 20.01 million barrels compared to 20.09 million barrels as the low end of their estimates. Ethanol production rose to 937,000 barrels per day, 15,000 bpd higher than analysts expected. Brownfield Ag News reported the Renewable Fuels Association saying that gasoline sold into the market fell to 14-week lows and that stocks were at 14-week lows as well.
