Argentina to appeal United States Court of International Trade decision on tariffs

In Argentina, Ecos365 reports the country will appeal the ruling of the United States Court of International Trade that ratifies the imposition of tariffs imposed in 2018 on the import of biofuel produced in Argentina.

On Wednesday, the United States Court of International Trade ruled against the demand of the Argentine government and an exporting company regarding the results of the review due that circumstances have changed since the definitive countervailing duties imposed in 2018 on biodiesel imports from Argentina.

As a result, Argentina may make use of the appeal to a higher court of the United States such as the corresponding Federal Circuit Court, within the next 60 days.
