“Leaked” 2020-2022 RVO figures reported in the press said to be a “spoof”

In Washington, DTN reports that a fictious email is being sent around pretending to come from the Renewable Fuels Association alleging potential RVO numbers for 2020 through 2022 ahead of their possible publication on Friday, which the association calls a “spoof”. Those numbers, including a revision down of 2020 blending, was reported by news agencies including Reuters and Bloomberg, news of which later pushed down D6 RIN prices and corn futures in response. The Environmental Protection Agency is expected to release the final proposed figures on Friday.
