Indian transport minister converts his own tractor to bio-CNG to set example

In India, the Press Trust of India reports the transportation minister told soy producers over the weekend that he has personally converted his tractor to run on compressed biogas to demonstrate how farmers should follow his lead to use more CNG and LNG in food and feedstock production. The government has recently come under fire again for promoting biofuels made from foodstuffs so the minister’s focus on waste-based fuels that will also help farmers boost income and reduce fuel costs.
