Papyrus Australia successfully trials banana-based mold food packaging at scale

In Australia, Papyrus Australia Ltd announced it has completed a successful trial using its factory-produced refined banana fiber to produce commercial quantities of biodegradable molded food packaging products in a conventional, off the shelf, molding machine.
This successful trial is a major milestone for the Company as it:
 proves banana fiber is a viable alternative to wood pulp in molded food packaging products
 is the first time refined banana fiber has been used on standard molding machines
 demonstrates the commercial value of the Company’s patented process of producing mechanically refined banana fiber
 represents a significant IP gain on how to prepare banana fiber for molding and how to set up molding lines to successfully mold the Company’s fiber products
