Greenfield Global brings Winnebago ethanol plant back online

November 24, 2021 |

In Minnesota, KEYC reports the formerly Corn Plus ethanol plant in Winnebago, now owned by Greenfield Global since last year, has been brought back online. The facility was mothballed in August 2019 but is now back online with plans to expand by another 48 million gallons. Minnesota-based Central Farm Service is supplying corn to the facility, providing a market again for local corn farmers who suffered from the facility’s closure. CFS has 17 grain facilities to source from.
