The Advanced Biofuels Association commissioned LMC International to forecast the outlook for supply of lipid feedstocks to determine their ability to meet the ABFA’s goal of reaching 21 billion gallons of biomass-based diesel (BBD) by 2040 and 9 billion gallons of BBD by 2030. So will there be enough lipid feedstock supplies in the U.S. to do this?
