Energy Vision launches report looking at alternative fuel options for waste collection fleets

In New York state, Waste Advantage Magazine reports the NGO Energy Vision has released its latest report, “The Refuse Revolution,” which assesses alternative fuel options for waste and refuse collection fleets to reduce the environmental impact of the sector. The report also highlights methane emissions associated with refuse disposal and that RNG production from landfills that is then used to fuel those fleets could have a significant impact in reducing emissions from both parts of the waste supply chain.
