B30 saved Indonesia $4.54B in FX in 2021

In Indonesia, Antara News Agency reports the country saves $4.54 billion in foreign exchange as a result of its B30 blending mandate in 2021. This year, 9.21 billion liters of B30 were distributed by oil marketing companies while in 2022 that figure is expected to reach 10.15 billion liters, leading to further foreign exchange savings. In the meantime, B100 trials continue to be undertaken by the government in hopes of finding ways to further boost biodiesel consumption and reduce FX on fuel imports even more.
