Supreme Court won’t intervene in year-round E15 case

January 10, 2022 |

In Washington, the Houston Chronicle newspaper reports that the Supreme Court has decided to not rule in the ethanol industry’s appeal against the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals to allow for the return of year-round E15 sales again. The appeals court ruled that the Environmental Protection Agency went beyond its remit when it made the E15 ruling which refiners swiftly rejected and sought it repeal by the courts. The Supreme Court did not say why it chose to not hear the case.
