bluShift looking to launch from Kennedy Space Center

In Maine, Bangor Daily News reports that following pushback from authorities in Jonesport, bluShift will instead look to do its future rocket launches from Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The company says that other Maine towns have expressed interest in hosting launches but Jonesport, the originally hoped for launch site, set up a moratorium on rocket launch last year and is looking to put in permanent rules to restrict them. The rush to find a launch site is linked to potential NASA funding through the NASA Flight Opportunities Program.
