March 14, 2022 |

In India, the Financial Express reports that the transportation minister announced Toyota would start a pilot project in the country running on green hydrogen. He also confirmed that flex-fuel engines vehicles allowing for up to 100% ethanol use from Hyundai, Suzuki and Toyota will be on the road within six months. The government is also trying to promote the construction industry’s transition to bio-CNG and bio-LNG. Although government policy for the last several years has been to transition to renewable fuels, the Russian invasion of Ukraine has highlighted the need to speed it up.
